👨‍🚀 About

<aside> 👦🏻 When I was a child I was taking apart toys to understand how they were made and how the mechanical stuff is working. The biggest challenge was to put everything together. For that, I even had my own tools set. I also loved to draw blueprints. These abilities nearly led me to become a surveyor technician but finally, I’ve discovered a passion for digital design. In my work, I like minimalism and utility.

<aside> 🧑🏻‍💻 I'm working as a graphic designer commercially since 2009 starting with t-shirt prints. In 2010 I started my first longer cooperation with a company specialized in identity and editorial design.

In the years 2010 - 2013 while studying in the Architecture department of the Bialystok University of Technology - specialization Graphic design I made several great student projects and I gained experience in creative works i.e. drawing and workshop graphics.

In 2015 I decided to focus mostly on UX/UI, web, and brand design.

<aside> 🤓 My essential design principles: ✓ respecting the 8pt grid system and pixel-perfect, ✓ organization and naming layers/pages/files (atomic design, using design tokens), ✓ focus on MVP scope (deliver key feature screens at first, plan further features), ✓ validate decisions using user scenarios, ✓ preparing prototypes for user tests.

I’m a big Figma fan ❤️ Working with Adobe apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere).

Also, I’m familiar with HTML/CSS basics and low-code platforms (Webflow).
